My name is Jack and I want to share my story of how I recovered from anxiety.

First, let me say that I’d literally tried everything and was fed up and ready to give up!

I was massively sceptical, battle weary and sick of all the hype and false claims, and people profiting from my misery.

I was so scared of trying something and failing again, that it was just easier to not try if that makes sense?

But ironically, this self-imposed barrier was the very thing stopping me from moving forward.

Why?

Because I tarnished everything with the same brush, so anything that I saw or that people suggested, I just assumed it was a scam and it wasn’t going to work for me.

In my mind my anxiety was just too severe and much worse than anybody else’s!

So, I stopped looking for a solution and instead just started to focus on how bad my anxiety was, how sad my life was and how there was no hope, which made things worse, and I just spiralled into a deep depression.

When I was at my lowest my family urged me to get help from my GP, but I was scared he would want to medicate me.

I thought this would be the point of no return, and not only that, I was worried about the side-effects.

I explained this to my GP and I was shocked as he actually agreed with me!

He said he’s never seen so many mental health issues in all his years in practice, especially amongst children and was reluctant to medicate as this just pushes the can down the road.

He then recommended trying an approach by a therapist called Lawrence Leyton, who was an authority on anxiety, panic attacks and phobias.

So, I checked it out and was not only pleasantly surprised but inspired as it was completely different from anything that I’d seen before.

He had a video explaining his approach and, in a nutshell, he says the only way to overcome anxiety is to go below the surface.

What he meant by that was working with the unconscious mind, because this is where anxiety exists. I was worried he meant hypnosis, but thankfully it was nothing like that.

In fact, he termed it ‘Anxiety Hacking’ which when for the first time, I knew I was in the right place as this term really resonated with me.

Anyway, to cut a long story short this approach really worked for me and it was like a giant weight being lifted off my shoulders.

Before I was constantly overthinking, and therefore not able to get to sleep which made things worse the next day.

I was avoiding places that might trigger a panic attack because the fear of being out of control in a public place took over my life.

But now my life couldn’t be more different now, as I can sleep, I no longer avoid things and I have never had a panic attack since.

I can’t believe  how different I feel now and happy my life is now back on track.

I had finally beaten this thing and instead of anxiety controlling me, I was in control of it.

I’ve never felt happier, so if my story resonates with you, and you want to find out more then I will point you in the direction of the video that changed everything for me.

It’s free to watch and Lawrence will explain it much better than me!
